Springboard Danse Montréal 2019

Montréal est en mode festival et Springboard se prépare à une 18e édition très spéciale. À l’issue des trois semaines que dure le projet, de nouvelles créations émergeront et des pièces de répertoire de renom revivront lors d’une soirée spéciale à laquelle nous vous convions. Lors de cette présentation ouverte sur invitation uniquement, vous pourrez découvrir :

• 9 compagnies principales

• 2 chorégraphes résidents*

• 5 chorégraphes émergents

• 111 danseurs

* En 2018, nous avons lancé un nouveau programme de Chorégraphe en Résidence en partenariat avec l'Agora de la Danse et la Place des Arts. Nos chorégraphes en résidence cette année sont des chorégraphes émergents l’année dernières: La Tresse (Chorégraphes émergents en 2017) et Kate Hilliard (Chorégraphe émergente 2007). Avec cette initiative, c’est maintenant auprès des artistes en milieu de carrière que nous élargissons notre appui.

Nos artistes proviennent de différents pays dont le Canada, Colombie, Espagne, États-Unis, Italie, Hongrie, France, Israël, Mexique, Roumanie, Royaume-Uni, Suède et Suisse.À votre arrivée, veuillez-vous enregistrer aux tables RSVP. Après le spectacle, vous aurez l'occasion de pouvoir rencontrer nos extraordinaires artistes au bar de l’Usine C.

Springboard Danse Montréal 2019

Montréal has entered full festival mode and Springboard is gearing up for a very special 18th edition of the project! Over these three weeks we have been incubating new creations and restaging renowned repertoire, and would be delighted to have you join us for the invitation-only showing highlighting:

• 9 Principal Companies

• 2 Resident Choreographers*

• 5 Emerging Choreographers

• 111 dancers

*In 2018, we launched the brand-new Resident Choreographer program in partnership with Agora de la Danse and Place des Arts. Our Residents this summer are Emerging choreographers from years past: La Tresse (2017) and Kate Hilliard (2007). With this program, we are poised to lead a fresh wave of support for mid-career artists.

Our artists this year are coming from a wide array of countries including Canada, Colombia, Italy, Hungary, France, Israel, Mexico, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the USA.

Please check-in at the RSVP tables upon your arrival at the venue. After the show, you'll have a chance to mingle at the in-house bar with our extraordinary artists.

Note: there is a small donation amount required to reserve your seat.
